Fifties reloaded, but a lot cooler!
The AX Chair, AX Armchair, and the AX Table are designs of Axel Veit, which are hand crafted in Germany.
Style elements of the glorious Fifties are obvious but they are being newly interpreted to give the chairs and the table a new and distinctive character. Perfect ergonomic proportions, the soft but firm upholstery, and the springy back rest give the chairs a remarkable comfort for dining and relaxed conversations. The metal frame especially of the table is showing changing visual effects depending on the view angle. The Black MDF table top is adding to the distinctiveness of the design.
AX Chair
Reduced shape yet very comfortable with its perfect ergonomics, upholstered seat and back, and with its springy back rest. Stable frame of round bar steel, lacquered in anthracite with a matte and slightly rough surface.
AX Armchair
For upholstery one can select from the wide fabric collection of Perennials (see pictures of the AX Chair); we also work with fabrics provided by the customer (COM). Optionally we offer a very high quality plant-tanned natural leather (see pictures of the AX Armchair).
AX Table
Depending on the viewing angle the table frame is showing changing visual characteristics. Black MDF table top with tapered rim. Stable frame of round bar steel in anthracite with a matte and slightly rough surface.

Table top: Black MDF table top with tapered rim. Other materials for table top like wood or stone or other sizes upon request.
Seat and back upholstered: fabric to choose from the wide Perennials collection or COM. Alternatively we offer a high quality plant-tanned natural leather, which is made by a small third generation family business in Southern Germany who focusses on the finest naturally tanned leathers only.
All pieces of the AX collection are Registered Community Designs (RCD).
